Yes Another Petition to Sign, we’ve already got 29123 signatures!!
We the undersigned are shocked (shocked!) and dismayed that Fox Broadcasting Corp. are considering the cancellation of Fringe. Fringe is one of the best shows on TV, and one of the few that encourages the use of the brain beyond basic breathing and cardiopulmonary functions.
Indeed, high-level brain function is rarely encouraged on TV these days. You can think of it as a public service if you need to, since use of these functions is a use-it-or-lose-it proposition. If, as a nation, we are going to watch television, we NEED to be watching shows like this.
Plus, Fringe is a great show. It’s got cool episodic plots and a really interesting story arc. It’s got the obligatory babe, some action, and even the complicated father/son relationship. What more do you guys want?
More viewers? Hey, this show is only getting better so that will take care of itself. Do yourselves a favor: associate yourself with quality shows and don’t cancel Fringe. It is very unlikely you will come up with something as good to replace it. Plus, I’ll bet that, demographically, a single Fringe viewer is worth 10 of Jersey Shore, et al.
So we beseech you, for Pete(r)’s sake: PLEASE DON’T CANCEL FRINGE!
